Casinacho Games

★★★★☆ 4.4 Editor rating

Casinacho Games is one of those titles that doesn't try to grab you in the first thirty seconds, and honestly that's why it grew on us. It's built around a series of short adventure chapters, each with its own little map to explore, small objectives to complete, and a handful of characters who chat with you along the way. The tone is relaxed and a bit playful.

Controls are all touch-based and very forgiving. You tap to move, drag to look around, and interact with objects by holding down for a second. There's no fiddly virtual joystick, which makes it comfortable to play one-handed on a commute. The interface stays out of the way, and the tutorial ends before it overstays its welcome.

What we liked most was the sense of momentum. Chapters are short enough to finish in a sitting, but each one unlocks a new mechanic or area, so you rarely feel like you're repeating yourself. Performance was smooth on older devices too, and load times between areas were short.
