Casinacho Games: what a week with it taught us

I'll admit I didn't expect much from Casinacho Games at first. The opening chapter is quiet, almost shy, and it took me a couple of sessions to understand what it was going for. Then it clicked, and I ended up playing far longer than planned.

The structure is what makes it work. Each chapter is a small, self-contained adventure with its own little area to explore and a light puzzle or two to solve. Because the chapters are short, it never feels like a chore, and there's always a reason to open it again the next day.

Controls deserve a mention because they're so unfussy. Everything is a tap or a drag, and I played most of it one-handed on the train. No cramped virtual buttons, no accidental inputs. Casinacho Games clearly designed around mobile from the start rather than porting a bigger interface down.

My one piece of advice: don't rush. The game rewards poking around each area before moving on, and half the fun is in the small details you'd miss if you sprint through. Performance stayed smooth on my older phone too, which isn't a given.

By the end I was genuinely fond of it. It's not the flashiest game on this site, but it's one of the most pleasant to keep coming back to.
